A wealthy dowager living seven leagues from Athens, Lysander’s aunt loved her young nephew as if he were her own son and heir, having no children of her own.
In an attempt to escape the ultimatum imposed by Theseus and Egeus, Lysander proposed that he and Hermia seek sanctuary with his aunt, beyond the reach of Athenian law.
They set off at midnight to find her home, but became lost in the forest, where they fell victim to the childish machinations of King Oberon and his loyal servant, Robin Goodfellow, aka Puck.
