Julian Gregory Day, aka Calendar Man, is a convicted serial killer responsible for more than a dozen murders. Obsessed with dates and calendars, he committed his crimes on major global holidays.
After his capture by Batman, Day was sent to Blackgate Prison. Despite being declared criminally insane, corruption within the judicial system led to his sentencing to death.
During the first Christmas Eve riot at Blackgate, he escaped and murdered Judge Fremont Harkness—the “hanging judge” who had condemned him—as an act of revenge.
Recaptured by police, and with evidence revealing falsified psychiatric evaluations by Blackgate staff, Day was retried and officially declared insane. He was transferred to the Potomac Psychiatric Hospital for rehabilitation.
On July 4th, Calendar Man escaped again, killing two people in the process. He is considered extremely dangerous.
